At Grace Atlanta Bible Church, we believe in grace giving rather than giving a tithe, or a tenth of what we have. Believers have a responsibility before the Lord to support the local church financially.
Yet there is freedom to contribute as the Lord has provided and as He leads (Deut 15:10; 16:17; 1 Chron 29:17; Rom 12:8). It is helpful to remember what the Apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians 9:7: “Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
